Admit that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:10-11 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.

Acknowledge the consequences for sin.
Revelation 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Understand that you cannot save yourself.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Turn from your sin and accept Jesus as Lord.
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner and cannot save myself, I believe that your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for me and rose again the third day. I know that He is God and His blood will cleanse me from my sin. I now turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me and accept me as your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
